What students are saying about Dee's Gentle Yoga Classes

"Going to Gentle Yoga class is one of the highlights of my week. I love how I feel by the end of class after the stretching and breathing. Dee is very gentle while helping the students to position their bodies for optimum results. It's really a wonderful experience!"  Gail

“I have noticed a difference in my body after attending Dee’s Yoga sessions. Her focus on agility, balance and breathing/relaxation techniques is now a part of my lifestyle.” Georgiana

"Gentle Yoga classes, particularly stretching, are extremely helpful to me in alleviating pain and stiffness from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.  Also, "remembering" to breathe helps to relieve pain and tension as well.” Joe

“What a difference this class has made in my life. An hour and fifteen minutes of peace, deep breathing, and gentle stretching that loosens up every muscle in my body. I feel ten times lighter when I leave than when I arrive.” Cheryl

“Yoga makes me feel more relaxed yet vibrant than anything else (even more than massage).  You’ll feel loosened up in places that you didn’t even realize were tense.  Dee is an excellent teacher.  She shows us how to do each pose easy or more difficult, you decide.  Don’t worry, she won’t put you into a pretzel, it is mostly just stretching.” Susan

“Yoga has added strength, balance, and flexibility to my aging body. Men, if you want to play with your grandkids when you get older, tie your own shoes, or pick yourself off the floor – take yoga. Lose the ego, be a beginner, and do something good for yourself.”

Harry

"I am amazed at what my body can do now! If you think Yoga requires you to be a pretzel, then you have the wrong impression. It’s a wonderful form of exercise for the total body. Yoga is beneficial for men and women. Try it and be amazed at your body in a few months.”  Angie

“Yoga is like giving yourself a 'present'. I enjoy West Neck Gentle Yoga because it is just that … gentle (not intense).  Most poses are done on the floor. I always feel invigorated after class is finished. Yoga has truly helped with my balance.  Better balance has improved my dancing.  I love it! Linda
